Chairman’s Comments, November 2008:
Hi, and if this is the first time you have visited to our website, a very warm welcome.
This is a very interesting time for the club as we, like many other organisations, have to face an uncertain future in a global meltdown. Many businesses are struggling with the lack of money coming in and we, at our club, are keen to ensure that we can continue to offer our varied and busy schedule of activities as well as ensuring we don’t dip into the red! I am convinced, with our excellent and hard-working committee, and the enthusiastic support of our members that we will not only survive but go from strength to strength. I am deeply privileged in my role to be part of a team that are so willing to serve our club and our community, and would extend an invitation to anyone wishing to join us on our journey upwards and onwards. These are very exciting times for us, and we are all glad to be part of our future. I hope to see you soon...
